At Hospital Bed Rental Inc, we aim to deliver your medical equipment quickly, safely, and reliably. This policy outlines our shipping methods, delivery timelines, fees, and customer responsibilities during the shipping process.
1. Shipping Coverage
We currently offer delivery within the GTA only. Orders placed outside the GTA will not be processed.
2. Order Processing Time
Once your order is placed and payment is confirmed:
- Orders are typically processed within 24 to 48 business hours.
- Orders are not processed on weekends or public holidays.
3. Delivery Timeline
After processing, most deliveries are completed within 1 to 3 business days, depending on your location and availability.
We use a combination of:
- Local delivery partners
- In-house delivery teams
4. Shipping Fees
- Orders above $1,700: Free delivery in GTA
- Orders below $1,700: $150 flat delivery fee (main floor)
- Condo/other floors: Additional $20 fee
Shipping fees are automatically calculated and applied during checkout.
5. Delivery Notification and Tracking
Once your order has been shipped:
- You will receive a shipping confirmation and estimated delivery time via email or phone.
- If you would like to track your order, please contact us and we will provide:
- The name of the delivery partner (if applicable)
- Contact details for delivery follow-up
6. Delivery Requirements and Signature
The customer or an authorized person must be present to inspect and accept the delivery. We recommend checking the condition of the item before signing.
7. Failed Deliveries or Missed Appointments
If no one is available to receive the delivery:
- Please contact our customer service to reschedule.
- Additional delivery or redelivery fees may apply in some cases.
8. In-Store Pickup
Pickup is only available at our 40 Westmore Drive, Unit 109 location in Etobicoke. All other orders are delivered directly to your provided address.
